On this picture you can see the door in to the classroom I mostly teach in. That is not in the manor building you can see on the first picture. It is in an old house on the farm as previously was staff housing. Now it is three classrooms in this house also.

  1. Christina it is lovely to have your classrooms in the house. It is quite a different feeling to working in a new modern building. What sort of lessons do you have in this classroom?

    1. At first I have to tell you that I work at the same school as Per Blomgren but I work which students who have a bit lower IQ, special school wee call it. Our students goes four years and this classroom it is only the special school students. In this classroom they have all sorts of lessons, Swedish, English, mathematics, farming, animal knowledge and other subjects.
The house is a old dwelling house but since about 10 years it is a schoolhouse. The house was built in the 1930s, I think. I am not sure.
And it is very nice too work in this old house.

  3. Christina thanks for this information about your school and about
Per Blomgren. We have calsses like yours in Australia . These classes are in schools and in the vocational colleges. It is very good to see that the needs of the students are being looked after this way. Do you find that being located on a farm helps the students to learn? We find that the more we are able to relate what they are learning in the classroom to the real world and practical examples the more effective the learning is. Do you find this?
